Our Process
Step 1: Assessment, On-Site Collection, & Secure Logistics
Upon receiving a service request, we evaluate the assets to determine their condition, value, and data security risks. Our first stage in the ITAD process involves offering on-site destruction to ensure all data is securely removed from the assets if required by our clients. We then proceed with collection and secure transportation of IT assets to our main warehouse in Atlanta, GA. Our team members perform preliminary sorting of the inventory into different bins or pallets, ensuring proper segregation of hazardous waste and batteries.
Step 2: Manual Sorting, Data Destruction, & Dismantling
Upon receipt at our warehouse, the assets undergo our unique asset recovery and electronics recycling process. The e-waste is first manually sorted, with hazardous materials and batteries removed for separate processing. This is also the stage where hard drives are dismantled for secure software and physical destruction in accordance with Department of Defense standards.
Step 3: Asset Recovery & Recycling
Recovery is a key aspect of our process. We handle all refurbishment activities, including testing, repairing, remarketing, and offering a revenue share back to our clients on valuable inventory. The materials are separated, broken down, and sent to approved downstream vendors for recycling. Our process is a blend of manual and automated tasks to ensure economic viability while maintaining high safety standards.
Step 4: Reporting & Certificate of Destruction
At the end of each job, we provide a comprehensive report of the disposition of all assets, including a certificate of destruction or data erasure. Our certificate of destruction reports allow our clients to provide proof of proper disposal of sensitive data and hazardous materials to management, regulatory officials, and other stakeholders.
